With a professional training program, individual feedback, expert direction, knowledge of the industry and a competitive portfolio, you can achieve it!

She has placed new presenters in children‘¦s, music, health, cooking, travel, arts, entertainment programs, as well as advertorial, finance and news reports, corporate training films, science documentary and many other types of programs.
You begin by having two days of specialised training to develop your style and familiarise yourself with the camera. If you have the potential, this intense course will bring out the TV Presenter in you. It will also allow you to discover which programs are best suited to you, not only taking into account your personality, but also utilizing your life's experience, expertise and qualifications.
To qualify for the course, you will need to have excellent communication skills, a well-developed voice and a presentable image. You will be required to fill in a questionnaire for assessment, which will determine your suitability
The techniques covered in the training are:
Defining the best programs for you to present Connecting with the viewer behind the lens Key-wording and adlibbing skills Scripting at least 6 types of programs Mock auditions. Time-span awareness Building camera confidence and styling your delivery Leaning how to move/walk while talking to camera Ideas and concepts to write your own TV Program Audition skills + information about acquiring an agent Broadcast vocal techniques including 'shading' vocal delivery Information about acquiring a show reel - (presenter portfolio) Tips and ideas to help market yourself into the Australian TV arena Eligibility to register onto the only on-line casting website for new and established TV Presenters in Australia
After you have completed this weekend course you will have acquired a competitive style in front of camera and ready to be part of the audition process. You will be given agents contact numbers and also taught how to 'self-promote'. There are many opportunities for new presenters at the moment with the increase of programs on pay TV and a growing demand for Presenters especially on Foxtel.
Show Reels/DVD's A show reel is a desirable tool to have as a new presenter (A Presenter's portfolio). Although there are live castings you will require a reel/DVD to show yourself presenting a suitable type of program. The producers will ask for a reel/DVD once they have seen your CV and photograph. It needs to be slick and competitive. You may inquire about having one produced after the training. Doing this course first will prevent you from spending unnecessary amounts for a show reel if you do NOT wish to proceed any further. If you are going to proceed with a show reel/DVD there will be discounted prices offered to all students who have trained with TV Pro Global. The same will not apply for people, who have not trained with TV Pro Global, as skills that are used during this course, ensure a high calibre of performance on your reel. Prices for a reel/DVD range from $580 to $990-00, depending on the amount of segments you have on your reel.
Realistic Achievements You will need to be realistic about achieving too much too soon. The type of work you can achieve as a new presenter may not be Getaway but instead a new travel program on Channel 7 or a kid's segment on Foxtel. A fashion segment and some vox pops out on the streets interviewing the public or maybe an art or health-and-well-being program. Advertorial and Corporate training films are definitely very popular for new presenters and other types of 'specialty' programs for which you are utilizing a skill or experience from your particular work field eg. Naturopathy, Health and Fitness, Interior Decorating (for Home Improvement type programs) etc.
To ascertain your suitability and to retain a high standard within the classes, Sharon requires you to please answer the following questionnaire and email or post it back to her for an evaluation. You will be notified of your acceptance preferably by email (please include your email details.)
