Sharon Lynne - Director 

Sharon Lynne has had 40 years of experience in the industry as a Presenter, Producer, Trainer, Casting Director, Corporate coach, Entertainer, Singer, Actor, Dancer and Choreographer.

In Australia she is recognized as a highly skilled Broadcast trainer with an unusual and remarkable style of training that brings the best out of a person’s delivery. She has acquired a reputation as one of the top broadcast trainers and casting directors in Australia, now also training and casting talent from New Zealand, the UK and Asia.

For the past thirty years she has successfully trained and cast presenters for the Australian Broadcasting Industry and changed the lives of so many people by recognizing their true talent and preparing them for the TV Industry. Some of her graduates have acquired work in the UK, USA, The Middle East, India and parts of Asia.

In 2002, Sharon devised the first inter-active casting website used exclusively to cast new TV Presenters in Australia. This specialized service attracts an enormous amount of interest amongst producers and receives up to 2000 hits per month from directors, producers, corporate clients and agents.

Born in South Africa in the 50’s, Sharon Lynne has enjoyed a successful career anchoring variety, music, kids and theatre critique programs including her own entertainment program called 'In Person Sharon Lynne'.

Her career started in the late sixties as a singer/actress/dancer and over the years she gained extensive experience playing many of the sought after lead roles in major musicals including ‘Evita’ (Eva Peron), 'South Pacific' (Nellie Forbush), 'Kiss me Kate' (Bianca/Lois), 'Oklahoma' (Laurie), 'Guys and Dolls’ (Sarah), The Sound of Music’ (Maria), ‘Grease’ (Marty), and ‘Nunsense’ (Sister Robert-Anne). Sharon has won many prestigious awards for her performances both on stage and TV.

She has studied at the School of Musical Theatre in Montreal, the Actors and Directors Lab in New York, had 12 years intensive vocal training with well- known diva Norma Biagi and studied choreography at the Alwyn Ailey Institute in NYC. She has also studied dance at the Martha Graham studios in NYC as well as with the reputable choreographer Luigi. Sharon is a qualified Drama and Dance teacher and for many years also produced and directed children’s musicals and concerts for the South African and Australian public. Her first trip to Australia during the early 80’s saw her training talent at the Johnny Young Talent School in Sydney. Sharon is also a guest Media Broadcast teacher at TAFE Petersham, Sydney.

"Second Time Around" is the name of her one woman show she performs in venues around Australia. 

She lives in Sydney (Australia) with her family, travelling interstate and overseas to train and cast her students.
