TV Pro Global is recognized as the leader in training and casting mainstream TV Presenters for the Australian TV broadcasting arena. As well we cast for online channels, corporate events and social media influencing.
This enables students from all states to train within their specialty area/s, then be promoted or promote their idea, service and/or brand to their related media platform. The training also covers technique for media conferencing, press releases, media interviews and events for radio and TV coverage.
Over the past 35 years through persistence and a growing reputation, TV PRO GLOBAL has accumulated a client base of over 1500 producers. We have placed new presenters in children’s, music, health, cooking, travel, arts, entertainment programs, as well as advertorial, lifestyle, news & finance reports, corporate videos, documentary as well as online educational videos. Presently our graduates cast for all mediums.
We have trained many TV news anchors, lifestyle presenters as well as government bodies, CEO’s and management of large corporations and profile sports professionals. Most of these techniques are also included in our Advanced workshop in relation to you area of specialty.
This course allows you to discover which programs, formats and styles are best suited to you, not only taking into account your personality, but also utilizing your life’s experience, expertise and qualifications. This course is also designed for the person requiring presentation skills for the promotion of their business & brand in the media and on social media.
The techniques covered in the TV Presenter Advanced training workshop include:
- Defining your style and delivery strengths as a presenter.
- Refining the best programs/genres for you to present as a presenter (full assessment)
- Skills to connect/engage with your viewer by “moving through” the camera
- Key-wording & adlibbing skills with specific time-frames for live broadcasting
- Content accuracy when formatting or delivering information to specific audiences/viewers
- Defining screen personality: connecting with the content as well as the viewer.
- How to ‘drive’ content with your objective at the forefront.
- Experimenting with delivery styles: defining program suitability
- Using online platforms effectively eg Zoom to deliver presentations to your audience
- Studio signals and studio expectations. Industry information (if applicable for your medium)
- Scripting/formatting & presenting approx. 5-8 types of programs and/or segments per day eg: travel; news report; lifestyle; health; corporate; news anchor, finance, or your own material/specialty/guesting
- Time-span awareness. (Scripting and delivery to camera with time signals)
- Formatting content for presenting to a variety of broadcast mediums eg TV, radio or online
- Audition skills and a variety of mock auditions and/or mock online promos (if applicable)
- Co-presenting. Learning to interact/present with another presenter for live or media appearances
- Interviewing skills. Determining expectations of your demographic/viewer/listeners
- Interviewing skills: Relevant content/listening skills/succinct questions & answers/timespan
- The ‘do’s and don’ts’ when reading an autocue. (Autocue available on site )
- Working with producer’s instructions & direction (for mainstream TV/radio or online)
- Dealing with performance anxiety & redirecting nervous energy when presenting
- Broadcast vocal techniques including ‘shading’ vocal delivery for various genres
- Learning how to move/walk/stand while talking to camera
- Learning how to prepare & dress for your audition and/or any video appearance
- Skills/formats for specialty presenting eg news; sport; finance; weather reporting/or your specialty
- Ideas and concepts to write your own online series or website videos (optional)
- Information and tips regarding what producers look for at a casting
- Acknowledging your delivery strengths for the professional arena / media appearances
- Exploring social media platforms for self-promotion (manual provided)
- Information about producing a show reel (optional)
- We design/produce showreels and/or promos to suit each person’s strengths & genre suitability
- Eligibility to join the only on-line casting service for new Presenters in Australia exclusive to TV Pro Graduates & professional presenters

**Please note: this is a practical course and all exercises are delivered to camera
Each student receives a tailored program to suit their strengths and experience
To qualify for entrance into this course you will need to have excellent communication skills and/or some journalistic/communication qualification; (or) have experience in another field; be over 18yrs
As we cast for all programs, we encourage business specialtists and other professional/career arenas to apply for this course. Producers are always looking for "specialty" presenters . Eg: animal and home improvement programs to finance, health and sports programs etc. You will need experience and knowledge in your area of expertise to present these types of programs!
Please note: Journalism is required for news and current affairs. If you would like to train for lifestyle, infotainment, kids etc journalism is not necessarily required. You will however need excellent communication skills and a clear vocal delivery
